Small Movers is a veteran-owned, family-operated small moving service. We initially started by placing small ads in the Green Sheet weekly paper to earn extra income during evenings and weekends. We used my long-bed pickup truck with ropes, tie-downs, nets, and tarps to haul, move, and deliver furniture, appliances, equipment, etc. Eventually, I found that working part-time with the pickup truck was more lucrative than my full-time job, so I decided to leave my job and invested in a 16ft box truck to handle the incoming work and repeat business. As the internet and websites became more prevalent, our company expanded, allowing us to serve other areas.
