It is because of this that we get involved with projects like this: The Texas Sentinels Foundation Home Team in Abilene and Cornerstone Custom Builders partnered with numerous Abilene businesses to award Army wounded warrior Staff Sergeant Mike Burns and his family the keys to a beautiful new custom built dream home on May 29, 2015. Emotions ran high as hundreds of business leaders, contractors, veterans, neighbors and community leaders welcomed the Burns family to the neighborhood just steps away from Wylie High School. It was truly an honor to donate a door and install it to this family. I still maintain a great friendship with Mike and his family. Truly deserving!!
