Cafe Homestead

Cafe Homestead, nestled within the Homestead Heritage community just north of Waco, Texas, has been a cherished dining destination since 1994. Embracing its roots in a traditional farming lifestyle, the café offers a menu featuring pasture-raised beef, freshly baked breads, award-winning local cheeses, and house-made sauces and condiments. The setting provides guests with the opportunity to tour the farm and gardens, explore working craft shops, and enjoy a hayride to a scenic vista overlooking the Brazos River. Despite a devastating fire in December 2022 that destroyed the original building, the community rallied together, and within 18 weeks, a new café was constructed, preserving the legacy and spirit of the establishment.
